2020年1月のMeetup

1月25日にMEETUPを開催します。この告知を書いている日には”Burning Man”の公式サイトではまだチケット販売は発表されていませんが、25日にはされていると思いますので、チケットの購入方法について、準備について、ちょっと一旦しっかり聞いておきたいという初参加組にも分かりやすいように説明します。

バーニングマンのチケット購入方法はもともと分かりにくいのですが、今年はどうなるのか？なんでそうなったのか、どうすれば大丈夫なのか、一緒に謎解きをしてみましょう。

今回の会場は以前にBurning Man Film Festivalの会場としてお世話になったTime Spot児玉さんの新しいベース内のコミュニティスペース。つまりは、お宅の３階のリビングというわけで、全くの民家なのですが、住人のみなさんが “Burning Man” に興味を持ってらして、今回会場として提供していただきました。

イベント会場とは違うので、いくつかお願いがあります。
使用出来るのは3階のリビングと畳部屋及びキッチン・トイレのみで、他の階は立ち入り禁止です。キッチンの食器等は使用せずに紙皿等持参します。また、ホームエレベーターも使用禁止です。食べ物・飲み物の差し入れは大歓迎ですが、”The 10 Principles of Burning Man”の”Leaving No Trace”と同様、最後は参加者全員でのお片付けとゴミ持ち帰りのご協力をお願いします。

Meetupには毎回必ず、バーニングマンでのアート制作やテーマキャンプ、ボランティア等を経験したメンバーが出席します。10〜20人程度のこじんまりとした集まりですが、ここ最近はハジメマシテな方と半々ぐらいです。バーニングマンについて、参加について、制作について、どんどん語りましょう。

Burninja Meetup is a casual gathering for burners and like minded ones that happens roughly every month in Tokyo area. The ticket sales have not announced yet however we like to share how to make a purchase based on previous years and have everybody understand the complicated process.

This meetup is taken place at Kodama-san’s in Iriya. He has hosted Burning man Film Festival at Time spot, and now has a new space where all the house share members a re interested in Burner culture. It is a building-ful of residence and he has kindly offered to used the community space on the third floor.

Since it is not a public space or a bar, please aware of a few rules. We can use the room onthe third floor, kitchen space and bathroom but the other rooms in the building. We will bring cups and stencils to avoid using up the ones at the space. Please take stairs in stead of the home elevator. You are welcome to bring snacks and drinks for sharing and also to bring the trash home as this is also a leave no trace event.

There will be 10 to 20 people including both the experienced burners and newbies every time. Let’s get to know how it is like to participate fully at BRC!
